Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Marino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marino comes into the arena with Most Exalted Potentate of Love-QOTSA blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dennis Marino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Johnson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marino moves into the clinch successfully.
Johnson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Marino gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Johnson regains guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Johnson looking for a guillotine here but Marino defends easily.
Marino wants to get up but he can't break Johnson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Johnson has his foot on Marino's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marino works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Marino stands up and waves to Johnson to follow him. A nice combination there by Marino.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson takes one to the chin there. Marino throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dennis Marino is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Marino scores with a three punch combo!

Dennis Marino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Johnson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Marino. Marino shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Johnson eats them both and turns towards Marino to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Marino paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Marino misses with a jab, cross combination.
Marino lands a two punch combo.
Marino is working the combinations to good effect here. Marino lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Johnson backs up against the cage.
Marino lands with a nice combination. Johnson backs away looking to recover.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marino lands with a nice body punch. Johnson slips a jab and a cross from Marino.
Marino throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Marino looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well. Marino scores with a punch to the head. Johnson tries to keep at a distance but Marino has taken the fight into the clinch. Marino has clasped his hands together around Johnson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Johnson is looking for a sweep. Marino wants to stand but Johnson is controlling his arm. Johnson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Marino off and has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Marino taps!
