Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Kalir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Monty Python! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Python connects with a single shot there. Kalir has his takedown stuffed and Kalir takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Python lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Python stuffs the takedown attempt from Kalir. Kalir gets slowly back to his feet. Python looks to land a combination but Kalir avoids it well. Python manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kalir on his heels. He'll look to pass Kalir's guard now, I'm sure. Kalir escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Python gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kalir is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kalir is trying to keep Python in close.
Python throws a big right hand that misses. Kalir avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Python trying to control the position from guard on top but Kalir is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Python loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kalir keeping moving, preventing Python from controlling successfully. Python preventing the sweep. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Python stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kalir won't allow Python to sweep him here. Python is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kalir is aware though and is defending well. Kalir drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Python manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kalir has Python in his guard. Kalir is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Python tries to free his leg and advance position but Kalir is retaining full guard. Kalir working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Python doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Python manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kalir has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Python can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kalir might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kalir avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Python preventing the sweep. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Monty Python showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Kalir's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Kalir drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kalir has his takedown stuffed and Python counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kalir fails with the takedown and Python counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Kalir. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Python fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kalir on the side of the head. Kalir with a lazy takedown attempt and Python counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kalir thinking. George Kalir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Python scores with a one two! Kalir had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Kalir showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Python.

Python lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kalir circles away quickly and effectively. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kalir with a poor takedown and Python counters with a nice uppercut. Python stuns Kalir with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Python fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kalir sprawls well initially but Python persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Python wants to control but Kalir is keeping him busy. Python is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Kalir can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Kalir is bucking up trying to escape but Python cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Python has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Python unloading with bombs! Python lands a heavy elbow.
Kalir is rocked! Python postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Kalir out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Python goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
