Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Trouble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Strader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Strader is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Big Trouble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Strader!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Trouble. Strader does a little dance to reset his feet.
A shot to the liver by Trouble. Beautiful body shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Trouble misses with a wild body shot.
The fighters circling - Strader throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Trouble keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Trouble closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Trouble keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Trouble prevents Strader from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trouble content to control rather than advance.
Strader has hold of Trouble's hands but Trouble slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Strader is looking to escape.

The fighters are battling for position here. Strader manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Trouble engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Strader wants to stand up but Trouble is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trouble trying to control the position from guard on top but Strader is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Big Trouble wasn't doing enough on the ground.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trouble.

Strader shoots in and drives through. Trouble sprawls well.
Nice uppercut there from Strader.
Strader stuffs the takedown attempt from Trouble. Trouble gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Trouble. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Trouble keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Trouble's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Strader moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Big Trouble dominated that round.
That's time! Trouble's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Trouble misses with a series of wild punches.

Strader lands a head kick that stumbles Trouble and the fighters go to the mat.


Trouble is rocked!


It looks like Big Trouble has been cut.

Strader drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Trouble dives on top into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Strader wants to get back to his feet but Trouble is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Strader looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Strader is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Trouble is controlling him.
Trouble is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Trouble trying to control but Strader is working from the bottom.
Trouble stops Strader from standing up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Strader looking to hit a scissor sweep but Trouble is one step ahead there.
Strader can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Trouble controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Big Trouble.
Trouble takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Trouble shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Strader defends it nicely.
Trouble looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Donk. Trouble catches Strader right on the button with a cross.


It looks like Jason Strader has been cut.
Jason Strader seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Trouble decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Strader wants to stand back up but Trouble manages to pass into side control.
Strader is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Strader is trying to improve his position.
Big Trouble overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Trouble lands some shots froms side control.
Trouble wants to lay and pray for a moment but Strader keeps working.
Strader regains half guard.
Strader wants to get back to his feet.
Trouble keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Strader looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Trouble pushes past his half guard into mount!
Strader really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Trouble wants to control the pace but Strader is squirming around nicely.
Strader sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Trouble is keen to just control but Strader is a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jason Strader will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Strader throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Strader slaps away a takedown attempt from Trouble, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Trouble fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Trouble is looking to wear down Strader with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
A left lands for Strader.
Trouble misses with a jab, cross combination.

Strader catches Trouble napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Trouble to the canvas!
Oh Trouble is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Strader slips nicely into half guard.

Strader is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Trouble defends it well.

Strader is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Strader seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Strader looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Strader escapes and gets back to his feet.

Trouble shoots and misses
and Strader counters with a right hand from hell and Trouble is out cold! A vicious knockout!
