PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cody Yeary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Obsrana Sraka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yeary comes into the arena with Chip off the block - Machine gun Kelly (MGK) blaring out of the sound system. Obsrana Sraka struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeary shoots for a double leg takedown but Sraka sprawls well. He's pushed Yeary's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yeary has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sraka finds it's way round the side to connect with Yeary's head.
Yeary shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sraka sprawls well. Sraka wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Yeary gets slowly back to his feet.
Sraka dives in and grabs Yeary's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yeary pushes down on Sraka's head and hops out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yeary sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sraka's guard.
Yeary working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yeary, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
