The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnstone tries to clinch there but Drake circles away.
Drake tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnstone swivels and escapes.
Johnstone shoots and misses
and Drake counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Johnstone looking for subs off his back but Drake has passed one foot through into half guard.
Drake takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Drake is working for a submission of some sort.
Well, if Drake is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Drake in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Johnstone tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Drake!
