Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Jork (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanislaw Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanislaw Kowalski will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stanislaw Kowalski!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jork stuffs the takedown attempt from Kowalski. Kowalski gets slowly back to his feet.
Kowalski slaps away a takedown attempt from Jork, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Kowalski closes the distance and clinches.
Kowalski keeps control of Jork as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Kowalski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jork doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jork manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee is keeping an eye on Kowalski - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Kowalski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jork as he jumps to the side.

Jork gets tackled into the cage by Kowalski. Kowalski maintains the clinch.
Jork tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kowalski's elbow.

Jork cracks Kowalski with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Kowalski clinches up with Jork and pushes him back against the cage.

It looks like Danny Jork has been cut.

Kowalski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kowalski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kowalski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jork defends it easily.
Jork tries to stand but Kowalski is controlling from the bottom.
Kowalski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kowalski throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Jork wants to get up but he can't break Kowalski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jork gets to his feet - Kowalski follows without any prompting.
Jork is breathing heavily.

Kowalski clinches up with Jork and pushes him back against the cage.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Jork misses with a takedown attempt - Kowalski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kowalski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jork walks away with a smile on his face. Kowalski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Jork tries to kick Kowalski off but Kowalski keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Kowalski wants to stand up but Jork has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kowalski stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Kowalski shoots in looking for a takedown but Jork manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kowalski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kowalski has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jork uses from the top position.

Jork looks for a takedown but Kowalski sprawls well.

Kowalski has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jork is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kowalski.

Well Kowalski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
