The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ho staying out of range there. Ho misses the shot to the body. Ho shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Renfro's guard. Ho working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ho wants to control from the top but Renfro keeps moving. Renfro looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Renfro utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ho is stalling in the full guard. Renfro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ho's guard. Renfro missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ho can do anything to dispel that myth. Renfro thows a big elbow that misses. Ho pulls Renfro in close to his closed guard and prevents Renfro from doing any damage or advancing position. Ho throws a right and a left that Renfro avoids nicely. Ho takes a swing at Renfro's ribcage but misses. Renfro dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ho. Renfro does a little dance to reset his feet. Renfro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ho moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A big right from Renfro misses. Ho scores a takedown into full mount! Ho fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Renfro wants to hold on but Ho pushes him away. Renfro is looking to get to half guard. Ho lands a heavy elbow. Ho looking to finish Renfro with some ground and pound. This is bad for Renfro! Ho postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Renfro looks a forlorn figure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Renfro is trying desperately to improve position. Ho looking to control but Renfro is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tally Ho dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ho closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ho lands in his opponent's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Renfro holds on and takes a little breather. Ho tries to free his leg and advance position but Renfro is retaining full guard. Renfro tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ho scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Ho avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Renfro keeping moving, preventing Ho from controlling successfully. Ho must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Ho looking to pass the guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tally Ho. Renfro doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ho fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Renfro manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ho staying out of range there. Ho looks to score with a jab to the body but Renfro is just out of range. Ho throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ho lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Renfro at a distance.

Ho displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Renfro. Renfro missing with a left hand there. Ho was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ho ducks under a wild hook from Renfro. No luck with that takedown attempt from Renfro.

Ho sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Renfro. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tally Ho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The fight stays on the outside here - Renfro looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Renfro misses with a takedown and Ho counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Renfro thinking. Ho punishes Renfro's body with a nice straight punch. Ho is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Renfro rather than just go for the knockout. Ho throws a body punch but Renfro moves out of range. Ho fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Ho looks to score with a jab to the body but Renfro is just out of range.

Ho lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Renfro actively working from the bottom here. Ho is keen to just control but Renfro is a slippery customer. Ho thows a huge punch but Renfro dodges it nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! Tally Ho comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ho has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
