Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ze Pedro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri CoxX (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pedro kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fury - Muse. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedro tries for a takedown but CoxX circles away easily
and CoxX counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pedro's guard now.
CoxX must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
CoxX chips away with some ground and pound.
CoxX really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pedro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
CoxX postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pedro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. CoxX doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Pedro is tightening it up a little... CoxX has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! CoxX reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! CoxX taps out! Nice BJJ there by Pedro!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Ze Pedro!
After the fight, Ze Pedro was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
