Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Krush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Cox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Krush! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cox scores with a three punch combo!
Cox fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cox shoots in for a double leg but Krush sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Krush throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cox misses with a hook
and Krush counters with a one-two to the body. Cox closes this distance looking for a takedown but Krush circles away. Cox avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Krush throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Krush stuffs the takedown attempt from Cox. Cox gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Cox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krush keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cox circles away from the clinch attempt.

Krush jabs Cox to the body, keeping him at a distance. Cox clinches. Krush swings wildly with an uppercut but Cox uses good head movement to avoid it. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Krush creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krush scores with a nice hook to the head. Krush breaks the clinch.
Cox tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Krush manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Krush tries to clinch up. David Cox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krush uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cox. Cox swats away the attempt to clinch by Krush. Krush misses with a double jab
and Cox counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Krush!
Krush is rocked!
It looks like Alexander Krush has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Krush looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Krush looking for submissions off his back. Krush looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Krush looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krush flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Krush regains full guard. Nicely done. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cox stands up from Krush's guard - Cox perhaps looking for a knockout. Krush defending well as Cox loads up on a big left hand. Krush ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cox throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Cox shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Krush as he jumps to the side. Krush connects with a high kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cox throws an overhand right that lands on Krush's shoulder, as Krush tries to avoid the shot. Cox drops Krush with a nice combination! Cox dives into Krush's guard, looking to finish!
Krush is still in real trouble! Can Cox finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cox postures up in Krush's guard and throws a big left but Krush blocks it. Cox is working Krush over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Cox decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Krush, up you get! Cox lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Krush falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
