PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stu Ungar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bush comes into the arena with Taking a Life blaring out of the sound system. Ungar has chosen Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stu Ungar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ungar throws a nice looking combination but Bush bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ungar looks to throw the jab but Bush is out of range.
Ungar throws a lazy uppercut
and Bush counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ungar smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ungar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bush ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bush misses with a body shot.
Ungar throws a sloppy head kick and Bush moves out of range easily.
Ungar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Stu Ungar has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bush scores with a jab to the head.
Ungar throws a sloppy head kick
and Bush counters with a nice uppercut.
Bush feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ungars jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bush lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bush tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ungar is able to avoid easily.
Bush bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ungar's head.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bush.
Ungar looks gassed!
Bush with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Bush cracks Ungar with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ungar looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bush finish him?

That has opened up Stu Ungar's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Look low, kick high! Bush uses the oldest trick in the book to send Ungar tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Bush is absolutely delighted - when Ungar wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

After the fight, Harry Bush was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
