Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Rolan Tiongson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Papi Lon!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiongson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lon clinches up against the cage.
Tiongson trying to control the position but instead, Lon has worked for underhooks and has pushed Tiongson into the cage.
Tiongson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Lon with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Tiongson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lon is defending well for now.

Lon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tiongson misses with a combination
and Lon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lon.
Lon slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Lon gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Papi Lon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tiongson connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Papi Lon has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tiongson as he avoids it easily.
Lon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tiongson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Lon is trying to get an arm triangle but Tiongson is defending well.
Tiongson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tiongson can't do much from the bottom here.
Tiongson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lon.

Lon tries to score with some ground and pound. Tiongson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Tiongson is looking to reverse the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lon controls the position.
Lon postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Tiongson tries to improve position but can't.

Papi Lon has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
No joy there for Tiongson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lon looks gassed!
Tiongson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rolan Tiongson will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Papi Lon's cut.
That's time! Tiongson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Tiongson drops Lon with a beautiful combination! Lon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tiongson is looking for the KO!

Tiongson pounces like a tiger and cracks Lon with a vicious hook! Lon is down but not out! Tiongson follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rolan Tiongson!
