Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack The Tulip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Qualls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack The Tulip!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Qualls!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Tulip defending well as Qualls loads up on a big left hand.
The Tulip fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Qualls manages to avoid it.
The Tulip throws a lazy right hand but Qualls sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The Tulip misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Qualls.
The Tulip throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Qualls stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The Tulip throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Qualls closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Tulip circles away.
The Tulip throws a looping overhand right but Qualls ducks down to avoid it.
Qualls shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says The Tulip as he avoids it easily.
Qualls misses the shot to the body.
Qualls fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Tulip avoids it really well and circles away.
Jack The Tulip has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noah Qualls.
The Tulip uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Qualls.
Qualls misses with a left hand
and The Tulip counters with a series of strikes. Qualls will be more careful next time no doubt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The Tulip is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Qualls.
Qualls walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Qualls misses with a looping right.
Qualls shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as The Tulip sprawls well. The Tulip wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Qualls gets slowly back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Qualls throws a nice looking combination but The Tulip bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Qualls throws a hook but The Tulip blocks it.

Qualls shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. The Tulip manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Qualls makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Qualls looking to pass the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Tulip throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Qualls chips away with some ground and pound.
Qualls tries to free his leg and advance position but The Tulip is retaining full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The Tulip is looking for a triangle but Qualls pushes his legs off easily.
Qualls throwing strikes but missing.
Qualls has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Qualls stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Tulip swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Qualls working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The Tulip is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Qualls defends well.
Qualls advances to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Qualls is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Qualls lands with a punch from half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Tulip wants to get back to full guard.
Qualls winds up and cracks The Tulip with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The Tulip wants to get back to full guard.
The Tulip controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

Qualls is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. The Tulip doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Qualls.
The Tulip is trying to stand.
Qualls seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The Tulip wants to improve his position but Qualls is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Qualls throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Qualls not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The Tulip knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Qualls on the ground.

Qualls is working for a submission of some sort.

Qualls is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and The Tulip defends it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The Tulip is trying to stand back up but Qualls is controlling him
The Tulip is looking for a sweep. Qualls is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Noah Qualls will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Qualls shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Qualls showed some decent athleticism there.

Qualls is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, The Tulip has managed to free his arm - good work.
The Tulip is looking to improve his position.

Qualls is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so The Tulip is just riding it out for now. Qualls eventually gives up the hold.
The Tulip wants to get back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Tulip has hold of Qualls's hands but Qualls slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The Tulip tries to roll over but Qualls keeps him under control.
Qualls not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Qualls prevents The Tulip from improving his position.
Noah Qualls has got the better of the ground game so far.
Qualls throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Qualls is trying for a kimura here. The Tulip looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Qualls wins by kimura!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Noah Qualls!
