Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Cigano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Semmy Man Choi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joey Cigano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Semmy Man Choi! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cigano checks a leg kick nicely. Man Choi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cigano, pushing him back against the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Man Choi.
It looks like Joey Cigano has been cut. Cigano is looking to take this one to the mat. Man Choi is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Man Choi gets underhooks to prevent Cigano's takedown attempt.

Man Choi displaying some good clinch control by pressing Cigano up against the cage. Cigano jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Man Choi walks away with a smile on his face. Cigano gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey Cigano. That's going to take a lot out of him. Man Choi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cigano has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man Choi instigates a clinch. Man Choi comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Man Choi using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Cigano has had enough of the clinch but Man Choi keeps him there for the moment. Cigano wants to take the fight to the mat but Man Choi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Man Choi unloads a knee to the mid-section. Cigano lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Man Choi avoiding damage.
Cigano goes for a takedown attempt but Man Choi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crunch! Man Choi slams his shin into Cigano's torso. Cigano is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cigano has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Man Choi. Cigano walks into a jab.
Joey Cigano's cut is getting worse. Man Choi scores with a jab to the head.
Man Choi has closed the distance and engaged Cigano in a clinch.
Man Choi dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Man Choi crunches a lovely knee into Cigano's ribcage. Man Choi lands an elbow just above Cigano 's eye.
Joey Cigano's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Joey Cigano's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Semmy Man Choi! A relieved looking Semmy Man Choi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
