Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grappler Striking!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

25 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gustav Graves!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striking wants to land a leg kick but Graves is out of range.
Striking moves into range and clinches up with Graves.
Graves fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Graves changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Striking fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Graves throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Striking stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Graves tries to clinch there but Striking circles away.

Graves uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Striking.
Graves fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Striking misses with a low kick as Graves jumps back.
Grappler Striking seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Striking tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Graves swivels and escapes.

A jab from Graves finds it's way through Striking's defenses.
Striking throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Graves's waist but Graves gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Striking off to one side.

Striking closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Graves quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Striking takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Graves counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Striking thinking.

Striking throws a leg kick which misses Graves's front leg but catches the back leg as Graves tries to avoid it.
Graves tries to close the distance and clinch but Striking swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Graves decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Striking wants to control from the top but Graves keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Striking scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Graves doesn't seem bothered though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Striking tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Graves takes a shot to the head.
Striking drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grappler Striking. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Graves is defended easily by Striking.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Striking.
Graves's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Striking connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Graves scrambles back to his feet.
Striking shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Graves but Graves pushes him off and we're back to square one.
