The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheeks slips a jab and a cross from Moore.
Moore misses with a series of wild punches.
Moore falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Sheeks counter with a right hand.
Moore on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Sheeks steps into range and cracks Moore with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Moore flops backwards and Sheeks dives into his guard looking to finish!

Moore is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Moore is looking for a triangle but Sheeks pushes his legs off easily.
Oh Moore is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sheeks passes into half guard.
Sheeks working over Moore with some ground and pound. Moore looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Sheeks looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Sheeks perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Moore has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sheeks is working away from the top position though.
Moore is not content to let Sheeks control the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Garrett Sheeks wasn't active enough on the ground.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sheeks. Moore does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sheeks jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sloppy strikes from Moore. Those never looked like landing.
Moore shoots in for a takedown but Sheeks shows good takedown defense.
Moore misses with a wild combination.
Moore will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sheeks scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Sheeks clobbers Moore with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Sheeks cracks Moore with a big right hand and Moore goes down!
Sheeks must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Moore looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Moore is breathing heavily.
Sheeks pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Moore is keeping the position for now.
Sheeks trying to control the position from guard on top but Moore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Moore is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Moore has his foot on Sheeks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sheeks works his way back into a safe position though.

Sheeks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Moore looking for a triangle here. Sheeks is fighting it but it looks tight! Moore pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sheeks is tapping out - this one is all over!
