I think Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Usher - More . Rua has chosen Usher-More Remix as his entrance music. Mauricio Rua has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Wanderson Silva's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua with a poor takedown

and Silva counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rua's guard now.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rua manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Rua in his guard.

Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rua defends it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oh but Silva is tightening it up a little... Rua has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rua reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rua taps out! Nice BJJ there by Silva!
