Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mario Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Srichan Dan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan has chosen Pendulum - Propane Nightmares as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mario Bravo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Srichan Dan! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bravo dips to his left and cracks Dan with an uppercut!
It looks like Srichan Dan has been cut. Dan tries to keep at a distance but Bravo has taken the fight into the clinch. Bravo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Dan is defending well. Bravo breaks the clinch.
Bravo misses with a hook. Bravo moves in looking to clinch but Dan pushes him off. Dan slips a jab and a cross from Bravo.
Bravo misses the jab. Dan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bravo, pushing him back against the cage. Dan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bravo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dan pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dan is pressed up against the cage. Bravo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dan down to the mat. Dan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Bravo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dan misses with a looping right. Bravo shoots for a takedown but Dan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bravo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dan. Bravo shoots in but no luck this time. Bravo misses with a hook. Dan ducked under it nicely. Bravo misses with a hook. Bravo throws a series of punches but Dan avoids them all with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bravo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bravo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dan avoids it really well and circles away. Bravo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bravo has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Bravo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bravo. Bravo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bravo. Bravo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dan as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bravo to score with a decent uppercut. Bravo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dan blocks a head kick by Bravo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bravo throws a series of punches but Dan moves out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bravo shoots in looking for a takedown. Dan tries to sprawl out of it but Bravo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mario Bravo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Srichan Dan's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bravo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Dan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bravo was well out of range. Poor timing from Dan. Dan misses with a few strikes there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A right-left combo lands from Bravo. Bravo clinches up with Dan and pushes him back against the cage. Bravo manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo shoots in and bounces Dan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dan can't keep his opponent in guard - Bravo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Bravo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Bravo stands up from half guard. Bravo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dan's waist but Dan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bravo off to one side. Dan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bravo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Bravo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bravo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bravo misses with a straight left. Dan moves out of range as Bravo throws a body kick.
Mario Bravo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bravo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dan sprawls well. Dan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bravo gets slowly back to his feet. Horrible takedown by Bravo or perhaps it was just good defense by Dan which made him look bad. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bravo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Dan moves forwards but Bravo connects with a nice, crisp jab. Bravo has a takedown stuffed. Bravo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bravo doesn't manage to clinch there - Dan circles away.

Dan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bravo paws at him with a jab and circles away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bravo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dan sprawls well initially but Bravo persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bravo passes to side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dan is trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mario Bravo dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Srichan Dan's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Dan ducks under a wild hook from Bravo. Bravo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dan is fending him off so far but Bravo persists. Nope, Dan circles away and we're back to standing. Bravo lands with an overhand left. Bravo is looking to clinch but Dan is avoiding it.
Mario Bravo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bravo throws a head kick but Dan moves out of range.
Bravo throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Dan to counter with a crisp jab. Nice takedown defense from Dan. No joy for Bravo on that attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bravo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bravo feints a jab promting Dan to slip. Bravo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Dan leaves Bravo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Bravo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bravo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dan counters with a stiff right hand. Mario Bravo is winning the standup battle so far. A punch lands to the side of Bravo 's head but he takes it in his stride. Srichan Dan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mario Bravo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bravo tries to close the distance and clinch but Dan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bravo misses with a straight left. Dan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bravo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bravo looks to land a combination but Dan avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bravo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bravo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bravo moves into the clinch. Bravo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bravo closes the distance and clinches. Dan can't find room to land a body shot as Bravo controls the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dan is trying to break the clinch but Bravo is controlling him. Dan lands a nice shot to the body. Dan swings wildly with an uppercut but Bravo uses good head movement to avoid it. Bravo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bravo tries to keep at a distance but Dan has taken the fight into the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Bravo. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dan misses with a short punch on the inside.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mario Bravo. Well Bravo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
