Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Malfacine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Cartofell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartofell is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Snow. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Arthur Cartofell was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartofell dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Malfacine. That did some damage!

Malfacine gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Cartofell counters with a leg kick.

Malfacine manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Malfacine might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cartofell is thwarting Malfacine's attempts to control the position.
Cartofell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Malfacine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Malfacine is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Arthur Cartofell hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

and Cartofell counters with a solid body kick.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Malfacine stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cartofell.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cartofell, right into the meat.
Cartofell lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Malfacine is rocked!
Cartofell throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Malfacine crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
