Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between The Hulk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikayl Hope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hope shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hulk is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hope's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hope's back!

Hope defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hulk.

Hulk is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hope can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hope really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hulk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hulk looking to control but Hope is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Hulk throws some wild stikes that Hope manages to avoid easily.
Hope avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hulk.
Hope wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hulk.
Hulk wants to finish this one by submission but Hope is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hulk.

Hope is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Hulk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hope is trying to reverse the position but instead Hulk has taken his back - oops!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hulk looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hulk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hope manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hulk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hope swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hope swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mikayl Hope is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hulk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hope.
Hulk misses with a takedown attempt - Hope sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hulk shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hope as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Hulk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hulk drives through and clinches with Hope against the cage.
Hope tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hulk avoids it.
Hope ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hope no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Hulk slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Hulk trying to control the position but Hope is working away.

Hulk decides to stand back up. Hulk steps back and let's Hope get back to his feet.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hulk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hope can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mikayl Hope wasn't active enough on the ground.
Hulk moves into the clinch successfully.
Hulk tries to break free but Hope pushes him back against the cage.

Hope has had enough of the clinch but Hulk keeps him there for the moment.

Hope is trying to force a seperation but Hulk has the dominant position.
Hope lands a takedown into guard.
Hope is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hulk is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hope defends well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that The Hulk will probably get the nod.

Hulk is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hope is surviving well by controlling Hulk's body position as best he can.

Hulk is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hope can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hulk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
