Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Obadiah Klinefelter!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Klinefelter moves away.
Klinefelter tries a head kick but it misses.
Hunt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Klinefelter.
Klinefelter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Klinefelter lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hunt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hunt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hunt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hunt stuffs the takedown.
Hunt closes the distance and clinches up with Klinefelter, looking for a takedown. Hunt pushes Klinefelter against the cage but Klinefelter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Klinefelter takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Klinefelter lands a leg kick that knocks Hunt off balance momentarily.
Klinefelter shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Klinefelter tries to clinch but Hunt is having none of it.
Hunt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Klinefelter on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Mike Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunt just misses with a punch to the body.
Hunt takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Klinefelter walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Klinefelter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hunt's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hunt duly obliges.
Hunt takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hunt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Hunt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Klinefelter throws the kick towards the body but Hunt avoids it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Klinefelter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hunt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hunt stuns Klinefelter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Klinefelter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hunt.

Hunt throws a hook but Klinefelter blocks it.
Hunt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Klinefelter counters with a low kick, right behind Hunt 's knee.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hunt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hunt gets tackled into the cage by Klinefelter. Klinefelter maintains the clinch.
Klinefelter lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Klinefelter lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Klinefelter just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hunt's brow.
Hunt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Hunt will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Klinefelter shoots in looking for a takedown but Hunt manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Klinefelter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hunt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Klinefelter misses with an attempted mid kick.
A good leg kick by Klinefelter.
Hunt fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hunt scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Klinefelter tries to clinch up but Hunt circles away and keeps his distance.

and Hunt counters with a nice double leg into side control. Klinefelter won't be happy with that.
Hunt working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Hunt laying and praying for a moment but Klinefelter takes advantage and regains half guard.
Hunt is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Klinefelter defends it well.
Klinefelter preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Hunt is just content to waste time from the top position. Klinefelter takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hunt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hunt stays in close to Klinefelter's body and controls the position.
Klinefelter controls Hunt momentarily but Hunt frees himself.
Hunt lands a couple of digs.
Klinefelter scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Hunt takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Nice straight punches there by Hunt. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hunt.
Klinefelter misses with a head kick.
Hunt throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Obadiah Klinefelter has been cut.
Klinefelter avoids the body shot from Hunt.
Hunt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Klinefelter.
Klinefelter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hunt shoots in for a double leg but Klinefelter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hunt scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Klinefelter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hunt.
Klinefelter missing with a left hand there. Hunt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Klinefelter pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hunt is out of range and Klinefelter settles back down.
Klinefelter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hunt. That did some damage!

Hunt throws a hook to the side of Klinefelter's head but Klinefelter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Klinefelter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Klinefelter throws an elbow that misses. Hunt uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Klinefelter's guard. Nice move by Hunt!
Klinefelter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hunt's guard.
Hunt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Klinefelter is one step ahead there.
Klinefelter postures up in Hunt's guard and throws a big left but Hunt blocks it.
Klinefelter is looking to work some ground and pound but Hunt has wrist control.

Klinefelter wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hunt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hunt is taking a breather. Klinefelter says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
