Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rosco DelVecchio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DelVecchio has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rosco DelVecchio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Cote!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cote tries to close the distance and clinch but DelVecchio swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cote wants to clinch up but DelVecchio keeps it at a distance.
Cote should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Cote dodges the punch combination from DelVecchio.
Cote smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Cote throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
DelVecchio stuffs the takedown attempt from Cote. Cote gets slowly back to his feet.
Cote dives in and grabs DelVecchio's left leg, looking for a takedown. DelVecchio pushes down on Cote's head and hops out.
DelVecchio keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rosco DelVecchio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Cote.
Cote shoots in but DelVecchio avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Cote is trying to pull guard but DelVecchio turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
DelVecchio is looking to break free of the clinch but Cote has double underhooks.

Cote ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cote no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Cote is trying to force a seperation but DelVecchio has the dominant position.
Cote tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. DelVecchio smiles and moves away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
DelVecchio rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cote moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

DelVecchio moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Cote closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. DelVecchio did well to prevent Cote getting side control.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


No joy there for DelVecchio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rosco DelVecchio has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Charlie Cote is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
DelVecchio falls off balance throwing a combination

I would just about give that final round to Charlie Cote.
I've got Cote winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
