Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vernon Reid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maximus Albani!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Albani. Reid does a little dance to reset his feet.
Reid fails with the takedown.
Reid slips a jab from Albani.
Albani wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Albani throws a jab but it's blocked by Reid.
Reid avoids the body shot from Albani.
Albani throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Albani throws an off balance right hand
and Reid counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Albani's guard now.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Reid drops back looking for a leg! Albani is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Albani manages to kick Reid off! Reid jumps back into Albani's guard.
Reid advances position into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reid tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reid has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Reid passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Albani!
Reid working for a guillotine from mount but Albani is in no mood to give up.
Reid working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Albani is trying to escape the mount.
Albani really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reid. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Reid controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reid swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
