Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hammer Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Strawwhot Luppy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hammer Jacobs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Strawwhot Luppy! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacobs rushes Luppy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Luppy can't break the clinch.
Jacobs has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Luppy uses from the top position. Luppy trying to control but Jacobs is working from the bottom. Jacobs is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Luppy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Luppy wants to control from the top but Jacobs keeps moving. Jacobs looking for a sweep. The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Strawwhot Luppy. Jacobs shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Luppy sprawls well. Luppy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jacobs gets slowly back to his feet.

Luppy wants to control from the top but Jacobs keeps moving. This has been an exciting period of action!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Strawwhot Luppy. Luppy shoots in and drives through. Jacobs sprawls well. A head kick by Jacobs misses and Luppy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jacobs's guard now. Luppy trying to control the position from guard on top but Jacobs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jacobs bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Luppy's guard. Luppy is looking to stand back up but Jacobs counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Luppy. Luppy looks gassed! Jacobs thows a huge punch but Luppy dodges it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Luppy tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Jacobs manages to move to mount!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jacobs controlling his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Luppy's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Jacobs works his way to his opponent's back.
Jacobs missing with strikes from the back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Luppy fending off the submission attempt from Jacobs. Jacobs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Luppy pinned against the cage. Luppy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hammer Jacobs is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jacobs tries for a takedown but Luppy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jacobs fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hammer Jacobs. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacobs fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Luppy fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Luppy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A head kick misses from Jacobs. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Horrible takedown by Luppy or perhaps it was just good defense by Jacobs which made him look bad. Jacobs stuffs the takedown attempt from Luppy. Luppy gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacobs fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Luppy avoids it really well and circles away. Jacobs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Luppy fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jacobs fails to land the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jacobs. Jacobs shoots in and drives through. Luppy sprawls well. Luppy shoots in and drives through. Jacobs sprawls well. Jacobs pushes Luppy up against the cage in a clinch. Luppy tries to circle away but Jacobs has him pinned against the cage. Jacobs prevents Luppy from breaking the clinch.

Jacobs keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Luppy's efforts to push away. Jacobs gets control of Luppy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jacobs will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Jacobs pushes Luppy off and scrambles back to his feet.
Jacobs closes this distance looking for a takedown but Luppy circles away. Jacobs shoots in for a takedown but Luppy shows good takedown defense. Luppy shoots in for a double leg but Jacobs sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hammer Jacobs dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Jacobs shoots in looking for a takedown. Luppy tries to sprawl out of it but Jacobs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Luppy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jacobs lands with a good body shot. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jacobs is defended easily by Luppy. Jacobs clinches up against the cage.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jacobs pulls Luppy in close to prevent any damage. Luppy trying to control but Jacobs is working from the bottom.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Strawwhot Luppy wasn't active enough on the ground. Luppy gets tackled into the cage by Jacobs. Jacobs maintains the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacobs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Luppy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jacobs is fending him off so far but Luppy persists. Nope, Jacobs circles away and we're back to standing. Jacobs closes the distance and clinches. Luppy is trying to force a seperation but Jacobs has the dominant position. Jacobs tries to pull guard but Luppy won't allow it.

Luppy tries to break free but Jacobs pushes him back against the cage. Jacobs is trying to force a seperation but Luppy has the dominant position.

Luppy is defending well against a takedown attempt. Luppy is trying to break the clinch but Jacobs has him pressed against the cage. Luppy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Come on Jacobs - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Luppy has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Luppy blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Jacobs wants a takedown.
Luppy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacobs is trying to break the clinch but Luppy is controlling him. Luppy tries to break the clinch but Jacobs is controlling the position. The referee calls for Jacobs to work.
Luppy prevents Jacobs from breaking the clinch. Jacobs tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Luppy smiles and moves away.
Jacobs throws a sloppy head kick and Luppy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Luppy is keen to just control but Jacobs is a slippery customer. Luppy is just content to waste time from the top position. Jacobs takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Strawwhot Luppy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hammer Jacobs is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jacobs looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hammer Jacobs. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jacobs, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
