The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington scores with a one two! Rose had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Alexander Rose has been cut.
Washington on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Washington instigates a clinch.
Washington is looking to break free of the clinch but Rose has double underhooks.

Rose is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Washington gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
