Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Waitzel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Madsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waitzel comes to the cage accompanied by Dimmu Borgir - Puritania. Gunnar Madsen acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunnar Madsen!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waitzel lands a nice shot to the body.
Madsen loads up on a big right hand but Waitzel slips the punch.
Waitzel connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Gunnar Madsen has been cut.
Madsen lands a leg kick that knocks Waitzel off balance momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Madsen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Waitzel drives through and clinches with Madsen against the cage.
Madsen misses with the head strike.
Madsen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Waitzel is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Madsen has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Waitzel after a bit of a struggle.
Waitzel swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Waitzel lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Waitzel lands a body punch.

Madsen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Madsen stalling in the clinch but Waitzel improves position.

Waitzel gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Madsen.
Shane Waitzel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gunnar Madsen.
Madsen has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Waitzel clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Waitzel breaks Madsen's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Madsen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Waitzel wants to try and get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Waitzel is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Madsen tries to control but Waitzel wriggling away.
Waitzel wants to hold on but Madsen pushes him away.
Waitzel takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
