Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between JonJ Ones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Mcneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ones has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Trevor Mcneil will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, JonJ Ones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trevor Mcneil! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcneil tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ones keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mcneil throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ones on the side of the head. Mcneil shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mcneil showed some decent athleticism there. Mcneil is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mcneil is trying to control the action in half guard but Ones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Mcneil is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcneil wants to get up but he can't break Ones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mcneil stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ones is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcneil preventing the sweep. Ones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ones is pulling down on Mcneil's head. It's preventing any offense from Mcneil, at least for the moment.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mcneil throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ones tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mcneil is in Ones's guard. Ones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ones tries to get out of the position.

Mcneil tries to reverse the position but Ones maintains control. Mcneil bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Ones pulls Mcneil in close to prevent any damage. Ones keeping moving, preventing Mcneil from controlling successfully. Ones controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Mcneil preventing the sweep. The ref stands the fighters back up because JonJ Ones just wasn't active enough. Mcneil misses with a hook. Trevor Mcneil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcneil lands a jab-cross combination. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mcneil misses the body punch and Ones counters with a two punch combo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ones takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Mcneil closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ones quickly recovers to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mcneil moves in looking to clinch but Ones pushes him off. Mcneil closes the distance and pushes Ones back into the cage. Ones being controlled against the cage. Ones is trying to drag Mcneil to the mat but Mcneil just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Mcneil breaks the clinch.

Ones was covering up waiting for the punch and Mcneil finishes the takedown easily into guard. Mcneil trying to control but Ones is working from the bottom. Ones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Ones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ones scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Mcneil wants to control but Ones is keeping busy and won't allow it. Ones wants to take a breather but Mcneil is having none of it. Mcneil is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ones pulls his head out easily. Mcneil wants to get back to full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Mcneil tries to kick Ones off but Ones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Ones winds up and cracks Mcneil with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Mcneil wants to control but Ones is keeping busy and won't allow it. Mcneil wants to get back to full guard but Ones has passed into side control. Ones slows the pace down. Mcneil is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Trevor Mcneil has got the better of the ground game so far. Ones working the head and body with strikes. Mcneil tries to buck Ones off but Ones is having none of it. Mcneil on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Ones is working Mcneil over with some ground and pound from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ones prevents Mcneil from escaping the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mcneil is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Ones working the head and body with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Trevor Mcneil will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Ones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Ones's corner is telling him to maintain position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ones looking to pass the guard. Mcneil trying to keep a closed guard but Ones is proving a slippery customer.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Ones landing some decent shots from guard. Mcneil striking off his back but it's not causing Ones any problems. Ones stays in close to Mcneil's body and controls the position. Mcneil controls Ones momentarily but Ones frees himself.

JonJ Ones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Trevor Mcneil is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mcneil shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ones eats them both and turns towards Mcneil to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
And that's the end of the fight! JonJ Ones showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mcneil has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
