Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Tabera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vato Loco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Tabera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vato Loco! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loco drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Loco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tabera keeps working. Loco taking a breather here. Tabera wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Tabera trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Loco tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Loco prevents Tabera from escaping the position. Loco decides to stand back up. Loco steps back and let's Tabera get back to his feet. Tabera drives through with a takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Tabera wants to get up but he can't break Loco's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Loco wants to sweep here but Tabera controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loco manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Loco controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You get the feeling that Tabera really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Loco is landing with some decent strikes but Tabera is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Loco controlling from mount. Loco landing strikes from the mount. Loco putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Loco has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Loco looking to finish Tabera with some ground and pound. This is bad for Tabera! Tabera's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Loco raining down shots from the mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loco in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Loco trying to control but Tabera is having none of it. Loco breaks from Tabera's wrist control and lands an elbow. Loco scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tabera?
Loco controlling the position easily from mount. You get the feeling that Tabera really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Tabera is breathing heavily. Loco content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Vato Loco wasn't active enough on the ground. Tabera scores with a takedown into Loco's guard. Tabera won't allow Loco to sweep him here. Loco has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tabera should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Loco has tightened it up now! Tabera should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Vato Loco! Vato Loco tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
