Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Shango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Garelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Garelli's choice of entrance music: Patriarch on a Vespa. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Joe Garelli enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Shango, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shango takes the fight into the clinch.
Garelli goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Garelli putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Shango in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Shango swings wildly with an uppercut but Garelli uses good head movement to avoid it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garelli is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Shango can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Shango really wants to buck Garelli off and get back to his feet.

Shango wants to get back to his feet.

Garelli lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Shango is rocked!
Shango has left one of his arms exposed and Garelli doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Shango screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

A relieved looking Joe Garelli thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
