Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Gogaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gogaga comes to the cage accompanied by Judas Priest - The Ripper. Hughes has chosen Hear Me Now as his entrance music. Leon Hughes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hughes throws a head kick that misses.
Gogaga circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hughes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gogaga is fending him off so far but Hughes persists. Nope, Gogaga circles away and we're back to standing.
Hughes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gogaga thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hughes tries to clinch but Gogaga moves out of range.
Gogaga scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Horrible takedown by Gogaga or perhaps it was just good defense by Hughes which made him look bad.
Gogaga gets a double leg takedown into Hughes's guard.
Gogaga pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hughes is keeping the position for now.
Hughes trying to keep a closed guard but Gogaga is proving a slippery customer.

Hughes might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gogaga kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Gogaga trying to control but Hughes is working from the bottom.
Gogaga working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Gogaga seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Roger Gogaga wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Gogaga throws a hook but Hughes avoids it easily.
Hughes throws a sloppy head kick and Gogaga moves out of range easily.
Leon Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hughes fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hughes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gogaga circles away.
Hughes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gogaga swats him away and circles back towards the center.

It looks like Leon Hughes has been cut.
Hughes misses with a series of wild punches.
Gogaga scores with a jab to the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hughes moves to clinch but Gogaga breaks away
and Gogaga counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gogaga swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hughes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Gogaga cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hughes looks gassed!
Gogaga works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gogaga circles away from the clinch attempt
and Gogaga counters with a head kick that wobbles Hughes - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Gogaga sends him down. This one is all over!
