Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Esteban Soto Carrass!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soto Carrass is trying hard to land a takedown here. Miller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Soto Carrass tries to bum rush Miller with a series of wild strikes but Miller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Miller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Miller is trying to control the action in half guard but Soto Carrass is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Soto Carrass wants to stand but Miller is controlling his posture from full guard.

Miller is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Miller seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Soto Carrass does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Soto Carrass bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Miller gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Esteban Soto Carrass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soto Carrass looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Miller shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Soto Carrass is trying to defend but Miller finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Miller is nestled in close to Soto Carrass, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Soto Carrass really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Soto Carrass parries the strikes from Miller easily there. Miller is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Soto Carrass to escape.
