The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antonio shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sthowp counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sthowp.
Sthowp jumps guard and drags Antonio to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Antonio tries to free his leg and advance position but Sthowp is retaining full guard.
Sthowp looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Antonio trying to control but Sthowp is working from the bottom.

Antonio is looking to advance position but Sthowp has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Sthowp lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Antonio is looking to improve his position but Sthowp isn't that keen on the idea.

Sthowp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sthowp postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Antonio badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Sthowp around the waist but Sthowp pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Sthowp is the winner by TKO! Sthowp jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
