Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mister Spock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spock comes to the cage accompanied by 2000 Light Years. Boyd has chosen Family Tradition as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mister Spock!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Boyd!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spock scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Spock throws an overhand right that lands on Boyd's shoulder, as Boyd tries to avoid the shot.
Boyd throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Spock scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Spock uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Alexander Boyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice shot by Spock.
Spock wants to clinch.
Boyd closes the distance and clinches up with Spock, looking for a takedown. Boyd pushes Spock against the cage but Spock circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boyd misses with a leg kick
and Spock counters with a one-two to the body.
Boyd throws a lazy right hand but Spock sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Spock fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Boyd.
Left hook, right uppercut from Spock.
Spock lands with a nice body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boyd keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Spock!
Boyd is rocked!
Spock cracks Boyd with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Boyd falls to his knees and Spock doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mister Spock!
Mister Spock is the new featherweight champion!
A very excited looking Mister Spock rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
