Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between RJ Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimothy Halpert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Macho man. RJ Sanders has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, RJ Sanders! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimothy Halpert! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Halpert counters with a one-two to the body. Sanders fails with the takedown. Sanders drops his hands momentarily and Halpert takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. A swing and a miss from Halpert. Halpert thows a left - swing and a miss! Sanders shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Halpert counters with a two punch combo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for RJ Sanders. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanders looks for a takedown but Halpert sprawls well. Sanders tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Halpert swivels and escapes. RJ Sanders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sanders shoots in and drives through. Halpert sprawls well. Sanders on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders tries for a takedown but Halpert circles away easily enabling Halpert to counter with a crisp jab. Halpert darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Sanders shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Halpert counter with a right hand. Sanders looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Halpert is fending him off so far but Sanders persists. Nope, Halpert circles away and we're back to standing. Sanders keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Halpert. Halpert throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sanders counters with a single leg into guard. Halpert didn't expect that. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Sanders avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sanders is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Halpert is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Halpert has escaped and now he's on top! Sanders keeping moving, preventing Halpert from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halpert is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sanders has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Halpert is looking to defend but Sanders has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Halpert! Sanders pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Halpert taps out and this one is all over!
