And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
stesenko keeps the fight on the outside.
Cent shoots in but stesenko avoids the takedown attempt easily.
stesenko pushes Cent up against the cage in a clinch.
Cent tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. stesenko smiles and moves away.
stesenko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Cent is looking for a sweep. stesenko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cent is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Cent looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and stesenko counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

stesenko prevents Cent from improving his position.
stesenko decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Cent darts in trying to clinch
and stesenko counters with a shoot takedown. Cent fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cent lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for stesenko!
Cent fails to advance to stesenko's back.
Cent goes for an armbar but stesenko turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from stesenko.
Cent looks gassed!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cent is on top in guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cent is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! stesenko is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! stesenko has escaped and now he's on top!
stesenko content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
stesenko stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Cent wants to clinch but stesenko slips to the side
and stesenko counters with a takedown into side control.
Cent takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
stesenko scores with punches from side control.
Cent is looking for a sweep.
stesenko stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Cent fails with the takedown
and stesenko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
nikolai stesenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fiddy Cent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cent looking for a guillotine here but stesenko defends easily.
stesenko trying to control but Cent is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cent isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. stesenko stacks Cent on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by stesenko!
Cent is trying to get back to half guard.

stesenko is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
stesenko has hold of Cent's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Cent seems comfortable defending it but stesenko has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Cent is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Cent is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but stesenko couldn't care less - he's delighted!
