Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinya Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz looks to land a combination but Alkofer avoids it well.
Alkofer has taken the fight to the clinch.
Alkofer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Alkofer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Diaz did well to prevent Alkofer getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alkofer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
