The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams feints and as Stan raises his hands in defense, Williams changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Stan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Stan looking for a sweep. Not yet Stan, not yet.
Williams drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Williams jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Williams is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Williams gets to his feet - Stan follows without any prompting.
Williams slips a jab from Stan.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Stan enables Williams to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Williams defends it easily.
Stan has momentary wrist control but Williams slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stan looking for a triangle here. Williams is fighting it but it looks tight! Stan pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Williams is tapping out - this one is all over!
