Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yamapi Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Skyshriek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chan's entrance music is Ikenai Tayou. A fine choice. Skyshriek has chosen Moonlight Sonata as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yamapi Chan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Zack Skyshriek! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good exchange - Chan coming out on top. Chan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Chan throws a head kick that misses and Skyshriek counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Skyshriek scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Zack Skyshriek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Skyshriek looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Skyshriek throws a looping overhand right but Chan ducks down to avoid it. Skyshriek lands a jab to Chan's midsection. Chan shoots for a takedown but Skyshriek saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Chan shoots in looking for a takedown but Skyshriek manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Skyshriek. Skyshriek misses with a body shot.
Skyshriek lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Chan takes a swing at Skyshriek's ribcage but misses. Skyshriek throws a nice outside leg kick. Chan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Skyshriek is fending him off so far but Chan persists. Nope, Skyshriek circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yamapi Chan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skyshriek as he jumps to the side. Skyshriek throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Skyshriek misses the shot to the body. Skyshriek takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Skyshriek with a nice cross. Chan lands a nice looking body shot.
Skyshriek fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chan manages to avoid it. Skyshriek throws a half hearted mid kick. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Chan. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Skyshriek throws a lazy right hand but Chan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Zack Skyshriek is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Skyshriek misses the shot to the body. Skyshriek throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Chan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Skyshriek connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Skyshriek ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chan moves away. Chan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Skyshriek tries to avoid it but Chan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Skyshriek to the ground. Skyshriek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Skyshriek throws a lazy right hand but Chan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Skyshriek tries to score with a low kick but Chan moves his leg out of the way. Skyshriek bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chan's head. Skyshriek throws out a loose jab but Chan uses good head movement to avoid it. Skyshriek stuns Chan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Chan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Chan throws some wild stikes that Skyshriek manages to avoid easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chan sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Chan throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Chan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Chan throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Chan throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Skyshriek because Chan loaded up on that one. Skyshriek really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Chan is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Skyshriek has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Skyshriek! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Skyshriek wants to control from the top but Chan keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Chan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Skyshriek throws a jab when Chan was well out of range. Chan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Skyshriek throws an overhand right that lands on Chan's shoulder, as Chan tries to avoid the shot. A low kick from Skyshriek misses and Chan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Skyshriek's guard. Skyshriek wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Chan wants to pass the guard but Skyshriek is keeping the position. Chan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Skyshriek looking for a sweep. Not yet Skyshriek, not yet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Skyshriek has Chan pulled in close to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chan wants to control from the top but Skyshriek keeps moving. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Chan is looking to work some ground and pound but Skyshriek has wrist control. Chan throws an elbow that misses. Skyshriek uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chan's guard. Nice move by Skyshriek! Skyshriek stays in close to Chan's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Zack Skyshriek. Chan throws a sloppy head kick and Skyshriek moves out of range easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skyshriek tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chan was well out of range. Poor timing from Skyshriek. A low kick from Skyshriek is predictable there and Chan counters with a single leg into guard. Skyshriek didn't expect that. Skyshriek pulls Chan in to control the position. Skyshriek lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Chan! Skyshriek with the ground and pound from mount. Yamapi Chan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Chan tries to get back to half guard but can't. Skyshriek pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Skyshriek with the ground and pound from mount. Skyshriek controlling from the full mount. Let's hope that Skyshriek has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Zack Skyshriek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Skyshriek tests Chan's chin there with a solid looking shot. Skyshriek bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chan's head. Chan throws a head kick that misses. Chan misses with a wild body shot. Skyshriek looks to score with a jab to the body but Chan is just out of range. Some bone on bone action there as Chan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Chan shoots in but Skyshriek avoids the takedown attempt easily.

He's pushed Chan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yamapi Chan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Skyshriek feints and then cracks Chan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Chan down. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Skyshriek swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Chan. Skyshriek lands a slapping body shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Skyshriek. That's going to slow Chan down. Skyshriek keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Skyshriek lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Chan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Chan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Skyshriek lands with an overhand left. Chan fails with the takedown. Skyshriek with a body punch. A glancing blow. Skyshriek has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Chan drops his hands momentarily and Skyshriek takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Skyshriek throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Chan is looking to wear down Skyshriek with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Skyshriek connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Skyshriek throws a head kick but Chan moves out of range.

Skyshriek with a hook. Skyshriek feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Chan's calf. Skyshriek moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Skyshriek thows a body shot but no joy. Skyshriek scores with a hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Skyshriek throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Skyshriek pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nice body punch from Skyshriek. Chan throws a sloppy head kick and Skyshriek counters with a nice uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight! Zack Skyshriek comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Skyshriek has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
