The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a leg kick
letting Willams counter with a right hand.
Willams lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Willams!
Wanderlei Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Willams lands with a hook. Silva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Silva is rocked!
Silva tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Willams finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva throws a low kick but Willams avoids it.
Willams checks a leg kick nicely.
Silva seems to have recovered his senses.
Willams lands a slapping body shot.
Silva throws a leg kick
and Willams counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Willams works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Silva does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Willams pounces like a tiger and cracks Silva with a vicious hook! Silva is down but not out! Willams follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Sean Carter Willams!
