Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dingdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paco Nykanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dingdown comes to the cage accompanied by Baggy Trousers. Nykanen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jeff Mills - The Bells. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nykanen throws a shot from downtown. Dingdown moves away and avoids it.
Dingdown swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Dingdown with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nykanen to score with a decent uppercut.

Ben Dingdown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nykanen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dingdown swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nykanen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dingdown's guard now.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Nykanen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nykanen shoots in and drives through. Dingdown sprawls well.

Dingdown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dingdown gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nykanen to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Nykanen is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Dingdown frees his head nicely. Oh but Nykanen has switched to an armbar! Dingdown is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
