The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hendrix.
Hendrix scores with a one two! Diaz had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Diaz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hendrix looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Diaz trying to control the action but Hendrix is working from the bottom.
Hendrix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
