Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Facaloto Gals (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Brawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gals shoots for a takedown but Brawler saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gals tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brawler swivels and escapes.

Gals shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brawler manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Brawler wants to stand up but Gals is controlling him.

Gals gets to his feet - Brawler follows without any prompting.
Brawler scores with a three punch combo!
Gals tries for a takedown but Brawler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Facaloto Gals. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brawler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Brawler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brawler throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gals misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Brawler throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Brawler takes the fight into the clinch.

Gals slowing the pace effectively.
Gals prevents Brawler from breaking the clinch.
Gals is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A frustrated look appears on Brawler's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Brawler fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Gals pressing his opponent against the cage.

Gals gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Gals is breathing heavily.
Brawler is trying to control but can't.
Gals is taking a breather. Brawler says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Brawler is trying to get back to full guard.
Brawler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gals. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gals prevents Brawler from standing back up.
Gals frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Brawler wants to control but Gals is having none of it.
Brawler tries to reverse the position but Gals maintains control.
BOOM! Gals connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gals takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Gals moves to the back position.
Gals has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Brawler's body.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gals has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Gals is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Brawler has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Gals has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Brawler taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Gals doesn't care though - he's delighted!
