Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gay Pride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Mantiega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mantiega has chosen Gimme Shelter as his entrance music. Pedro Mantiega told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mantiega shoots and misses
enabling Pride to counter with a crisp jab.
Mantiega throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pride's waist but Pride gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mantiega off to one side.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mantiega.
Gay Pride has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Mantiega.

Pride sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Mantiega to the ground! Pride dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like Pedro Mantiega has been cut.
Pride is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Mantiega goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Pride!
