Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ap lands a head kick!
Bartleby throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ap was covering up waiting for the punch and Bartleby finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bartleby controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Bartleby might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ap is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bartleby sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Ap has momentary wrist control but Bartleby slips an elbow through the middle.
Ap really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bartleby. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bartleby postures up and lands a big shot to Ap's brow.

Bartleby is working Ap over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Ap tries to get to full guard but Bartleby has control of the leg.

Bartleby slips a nice elbow through Ap's hands, connecting with Ap's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bartleby looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Bartleby takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Ap is rocked!
Bartleby lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Ap quite badly. Ap pulls Bartleby in close trying to recover. Bartleby postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Ap on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Ap doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcus Bartleby!
After winning the bout, Marcus Bartleby thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
