The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Clooten.
Clooten steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Swanson.
Clooten misses with a lunging right hand
and Swanson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Clooten misses with a hook
enabling Swanson to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Matt Clooten has been cut.
A slow jab from Swanson misses its intended target.
Matt Clooten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swanson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Clooten uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
