The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assassin with a poor takedown
and Do counters with a straight right hand.
Assassin closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Do's guard.
Assassin throws a big elbow that misses.
Assassin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Assassin throws a strike but Do rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Do tries to free his leg and advance position but Assassin is retaining full guard.
Assassin is looking for a triangle but Do pushes his legs off easily.
Assassin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Assassin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Do stacks Assassin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Do!

Do is nestled in close to Assassin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Billy Do decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
