Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Veit Gaul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuo Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watanabe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - All Nightmare Long. Katsuo Watanabe has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaul shoots for a takedown but Watanabe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gaul throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Watanabe's waist but Watanabe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gaul off to one side.
Gaul shoots in for a takedown but Watanabe shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Veit Gaul. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gaul tries to clinch up but Watanabe circles away and keeps his distance.
Watanabe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gaul sprawls well initially but Watanabe persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Watanabe is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gaul is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
