Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luciano Bivar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waleed Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malik is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Can't Be Touched. Luciano Bivar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luciano Bivar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Waleed Malik!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bivar fails with a takedown attempt.
Malik has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bivar.
Malik misses with a head kick.
Malik tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bivar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bivar shoots in and bounces Malik off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bivar throws an elbow that misses. Malik uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bivar's guard. Nice move by Malik!
Malik has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bivar is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Malik wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bivar's closed guard. He's half up but Bivar has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bivar pivots and extends the arm, Malik falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bivar! Well done that man!
