Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kawan Winston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riordan Tommy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winston's entrance music is lil B : Rip The Rap. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tommy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tommy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tommy shoots in but no luck this time.
Kawan Winston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Riordan Tommy.
Tommy dives in and grabs Winston's left leg, looking for a takedown. Winston pushes down on Tommy's head and hops out.

and Winston counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tommy won't be happy with that.
Winston thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Winston takes a little break here. Tommy wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Tommy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Winston's waist but Winston gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tommy off to one side.

Tommy closes the distance and clinches up with Winston, looking for a takedown. Tommy pushes Winston against the cage but Winston circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
