The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lase throws a right and a left that both miss.
De Santos swings for the body but Lase moves out of range.
De Santos shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lase is trying to defend but De Santos finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
De Santos is working for a kimura but Lase is defending it quite comfortably.
