Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Machidist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunder comes to the cage accompanied by Bread Got Bun. Tyson Thunder has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Thunder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Machidist! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machidist tries to clinch but Thunder moves out of range. Thunder looks for a takedown but Machidist sprawls well. Thunder throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Thunder shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Thunder was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Machidist is trying to stand up. Thunder trying to control but Machidist is having none of it. Thunder controlling from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Thunder is trying to take his opponent's back.
Thunder throws some wild stikes that Machidist manages to avoid easily.
Machidist bucks Thunder off and manages to get back to his feet! Thunder avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Machidist looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Machidist tries to clinch but Thunder is having none of it. Thunder closes the distance and clinches up with Machidist, looking for a takedown. Thunder pushes Machidist against the cage but Machidist circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Machidist takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Machidist tries to clinch but Thunder moves out of range. Thunder tries to close the distance and clinch but Machidist swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Thunder fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Thunder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Machidist tries to clinch up and Thunder counters with a nice double leg into guard. Thunder tries to stand but Machidist is controlling from the bottom. Machidist is working an open guard so Thunder takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Thunder is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machidist tries to clinch up and Thunder counters with a nice double leg into side control. Machidist won't be happy with that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Machidist wants to get back to his feet but Thunder drags him back down. Machidist is not content to let Thunder control the position. Thunder decides to take the fight back to the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Thunder dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Thunder successfully pulls guard.
Thunder is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Machidist won't allow Thunder to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Machidist wants to get up but he can't break Thunder's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Thunder manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Machidist manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thunder slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Machidist wants to stand and escape but Thunder is having none of it. Thunder with a flurry of punches that miss. Machidist keeping moving, preventing Thunder from controlling successfully. Thunder is really struggling to control Machidist but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Machidist keeping full guard, as Thunder tries to pass. Machidist is looking to stand up but Thunder isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Thunder shoots in for a takedown but Machidist shows good takedown defense. Machidist wants to clinch but Thunder slips to the side and Thunder counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Machidist! Poor strikes thrown by Thunder there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Machidist really wants to buck Thunder off and get back to his feet. Thunder goes for an armbar but Machidist turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Machidist. Machidist decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thunder gets the takedown into side control. Thunder wants to take a breather but Machidist manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Thunder. Thunder throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Machidist works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Thunder pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Machidist is keeping the position for now. Thunder is working hard here to advance position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Thunder dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Thunder is looking to clinch but Machidist is avoiding it.
Machidist tries to clinch and Thunder counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Thunder. Thunder has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Machidist avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Machidist misses with an elbow over the top. Machidist missing with knees to the body.
Machidist connects with a nasty looking knee right to Thunder's face.

Thunder pulls Machidist into guard.
Thunder is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tyson Thunder overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thunder pulls Machidist in close to prevent any damage. Machidist takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Thunder working a defensive guard but Machidist manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machidist working away. Machidist tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Thunder tries to buck Machidist off but Machidist is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Thunder is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Machidist's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Thunder wants to get back to full guard but Machidist has passed into side control. Thunder wants to hold on but Machidist pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thunder is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Machidist avoids the attempt from Thunder to control.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Tyson Thunder just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Thunder scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Machidist is not content to let Thunder control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machidist sneaks out the side door and pushes Thunder away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Machidist closes the distance but Thunder moves to the side and Thunder holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Thunder jumps guard.
Thunder is looking to stand up but Machidist isn't so interested in that idea. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Machidist is fighting to break Thunder's control of his arms but Thunder is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyson Thunder showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Thunder, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
